In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top business finance and solutions apps on iOS in the UK showed varied trends in downloads and user engagement, according to data from Sensor Tower.

SumUp: Payments and POS experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 16K at the beginning of July and settling around 11K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, starting at over 210K and dipping to about 165K mid-quarter before recovering to nearly 200K.

Tide - Mobile Business Banking saw an upward trend in downloads, peaking at around 5K by mid-September. Active users increased steadily from approximately 179K to over 214K by the quarter's end.

For Square Point of Sale (POS), downloads showed a slight decline, starting at over 5K and ending at around 3.7K. Active users began at 78K, saw some fluctuations, and closed the quarter at approximately 61K.

Revolut Business maintained a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating between 3.3K and 4.2K. Active users increased from 105K to around 116K by the end of September.

Finally, wac - shift & earnings tracker showed an increase in weekly revenue, reaching up to $1.4K by the quarter's end. Downloads peaked mid-quarter at over 5.8K, while active users data remains undisclosed.
